Sourav Ganguly to the Captain of Sahara pune warriors India

Sourav Ganguly to captain Pune Warriors India for IPL 2012

Former Indian captain and the most successful Indian captain on foreign soil, Sourav Ganguly to captain Pune Warriors India (PWI) for the IPL Season 5 2012. Earlier there were rumors about Ganguly playing a dual role of a captain-cum-coach which he rubbished on a couple of occasions and maintained that Yuvraj Singh would captain the side.

As per reported on a Sourav Gangully fan-site, Sourav has confirmed to lead the Pune Warriors India very recently and he’s leaving no stone un-turned. He had a successful Ranji season with Bengal Team, and Ganguly helped Bengal avoid relegation. He scored 424 runs at at average of 53 in 4 matches and took over Captaincy of the Bengal Team from Manoj Tiwary in the mid-way of the Ranji season.
May be this is just a rumors, we may have to wait for an announcement from Pune Warriors India side.
